Welcome to Dante Rossetti Gallery
The gallery has found a home near the "Kleine Zavel/Petit Sablon” in a XVIth century restored house, that escaped the demolitions of the XXth century.
The thick walls of the place - endowed with a soul - have many histories to tell.
Think only of the earls of Egmont and Hoorne, who, caught in a trap, were arrested during a festivity organised by the Duke of Alva, a few meters away from the present gallery.
Unlike other galleries, the works of art are not exhibited in a barren and bleak decor, but come to their full expression in warm surroundings.
You will discover the gallery - professionally and artistically at the top - on the occasion of her temporary exhibitions.
